This was our first visit to the land. This is the day that my gears started turning for this site. I wanted a place that I can make a record our new life and share art. There was no shortage of ideas or inspiration this trip.
We were there in mid October 2021. We were surprised that everything was still so green. It was definitely a late summer. I will never complain about one of those! But we had to get back to school and work… for now!
Our connecting flight was cancelled due to storms in Chicago. We didn’t land in D.C. until around midnight. We were starved and took off to the nearest Taco Bell. I shot this out of the car window that cold and rainy night. Back to life back to reality. 🎶
